A representative data set named ISCX VPN 2016,9 for real world traffic is developed where a set of tasks is defined that exhibit diversity. The data are collected for different applications, such as Skype and Facebook for a VPN as well as non-VPN. The data set consists total of 14 types of network traffic categories, such as VoIP, VPN, VoIP-VPN, P2P, VPN-P2P, to name a few. Data are collected for browsing, E-mail, chat, streaming, file transfer, VoIP, and P2P.
